Riyadh> Keli Arts and Culture Forum members presented the Education Excellence Award 2019-20 for their children.
This year, 26 children qualified for the award. In the wake of the Kovid epidemic, this year’s distribution was different from previous years, focusing on the respective areas. In previous years, distribution was concentrated at the state level, regional and district levels.
The award is given to the children of Keli members who obtain above 90 per cent marks in all subjects in the SSLC and Plus Two examinations. Amna Sebin, daughter of Keli Secretariat member and Joint Treasurer Sebin Iqbal, received the award in Riyadh. Amna Sebin, an Indian Embassy School student, is also the 10th class school second top scorer.
President Shamir Kunnummal presided over the award ceremony held at Batta. KPM Sadiq, Chief Patron of Keli and Member of Loka Kerala Sabha inaugurated the function. Board members Sajeevan Chowa, Satish Kumar, Gopinathan Vengara, Sudhakaran Kallyassery, Keli Secretariat members TR Subramanian, Suresh Kannapuram and Sebin Iqbal spoke.
Sports Secretary Shaukat Nilambur handed over the award to Amna Seb.
Shaukat Nilambur welcomed the gathering and Joseph Shaji, Member, Secretariat thanked them.
