Doha: Qatar Culture has hailed the state budget for announcing a number of projects for the welfare of expatriates.
The Pravasi Kshemanidi pension has been increased by Rs 3,500 for expatriates and Rs 3,000 for returning expatriates. An amount of `100 crore has been set apart for expatriate relief schemes. Therefore, the confidence and comfort that this budget gives to the expatriates is immense.
The projects envisioned are unparalleled for the general development of the state. This budget aims to give a clear direction to the future development of Kerala. “The LDF government has been able to ensure the welfare of all sections of the society along with the expatriates through the budget,” Sanskriti said in a press release.
