Riyadh> The second phase of the free ticket scheme 'Keli through Kerala' implemented by the Keli Cultural Center to help expatriates in distress following the Kovid epidemic was held. Under the scheme, Keli had decided to give home tickets to needy expatriates. Out of the applications received in the first phase, tickets were issued to 17 eligible and exiting candidates. The second phase focused on distribution in different areas. Tickets were given to Jayasree, Geetha and Unni Pillai from Kollam to Thiruvananthapuram, to Shijith Bavukkad from Kannur to Kannur, to Haridas Malayil from Kozhikode, to family Kudumbam Preetha and Pravanatha, to Siddique from Malappuram, to Anil from Malappuram, to Krishnankutty Sudheesh from Thrissur and to Abdul Ghafoor from Vazhikkadavu...

Riyadh> Keli Arts and Culture Center Central Committee member, Rouda Area Secretary and social activist Abdul Aziz's family handed over assistance to build a house. Abdul Aziz, a native of Kayamkulam, Alappuzha, was killed in an accident on March 15 last year when his Malas restaurant on Exit 30 Ameer Bandar Bin Abdul Aziz Road (Bagluff) in Riyadh collapsed. The housing fund was raised under the leadership of Keli activists. Family assistance for the families of deceased Keli members had previously been handed over to Aziz's family. Riyadh> Keli Arts and Culture Forum members presented the Education Excellence Award 2019-20 for their children. This year, 26 children qualified for the award. In the wake of the Kovid epidemic, this year's distribution was different from previous years, focusing on the respective areas. In previous years, distribution was concentrated at the state level, regional and district levels. The award is given to the children of Keli members who obtain above 90 per cent marks in all subjects in the SSLC and Plus Two examinations. Amna Sebin, daughter of Keli Secretariat member and Joint Treasurer Sebin Iqbal, received the award in Riyadh.
