Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Environmental Science (Ref: FST221006)
Job Description
Candidates with expertise in one or more areas: Atmospheric science and pollution, environmental chemistry, environmental modeling and statistics, science and technology in climate change, carbon emission analysis and management, green energy technology, and environmental and ecological analysis using machine learning.
Job Requirement
Candidates should have a PhD degree with working experience in a related discipline. The successful candidate is expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in English. Strong English language skill, including speaking and writing, is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach courses relating to General Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Health and Toxicology, Diversity of Life, Environmental Biotechnology, and Ethics and undertake independent research leading to outstanding outcomes, including publications in high-quality international peer-review journals. Candidates with proven track records in research grant application and international experiences such as learning and working are an advantage. Academic rank will be determined by the successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

Appointment Terms
Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
